Dani Rodrik describes the "myth" of economics in a discursive book that tries to typify many approaches to this social science. Assumptions, simplicity & complexity, models & math are the principle pillars of the text, but what is more important besides the history of this discipline is that the mindfulness and openness accrued owed to other fields help the growth itself in term of results & adaptation to the reality of societies where we live in. Not always easy to comprehend, notwithstanding this it comprises many notes and argumentations around various examples through the book and then it is useful, however, it can lead to a certain degree of abstraction.
